Kari you might not know who I am just to remind you am one of those Zambia’s who met you in Minnisota the night of the Zambian night party with your dad.

Allow me to share a thought with you from a book I read years back.

    * I am walking in the woods and come to a swampy area. I am standing at edge, wondering how to get across. If I walk through, my boots will be wet and dirty for the remainder of my hike.If I take of my boots,I will get my feet dirty and have to feel the ooze, which frightens and disgusts me. Just then, you come up, we exchange a few words and then you simply walk through the muck. I watch feel encouraged and do that too.

Do you know what this means to mean?

You have really been an encouragment to me.I run a big school with a high % of orphans & vernarable children. Giving them the best education has been a great challenge to me without proper resourses. some nights I wakeup tell myself I’ll give up can’t manage to go on.

Your painting of the birds and the Bible verse have great meaning to me.God is always there but little do I recognise HIM even through the little am able to do.

Meeting you too was a joyful thing for me to see the great determination you have. You dad too is a wonderful person who spoke highly of you the day we had a session with him in ARC.

I know I have no means to change things I can’t change beyond my ability, but YOU will always ,always be my model of perserverance and learn to go through the muck which are challenges of life.

May the Good Lord continue giving you strength through through your great works of ART.

    I love this painting

I think this is my favorite painting of yours as I love birds and chickadees in particular. You have a very successful career in your future. This is a wonderful website, thank you for sharing your talent and perspective with us!

    Dear Kari,
We were looking at your work this evening and were lifted up by your painting of the colorful, trusting birds in this winter scene. It is a comforting and inspiring realization that our Heavenly Father is taking care of us. Your witness is such a joy to us! I (Jan) am planning to have some of my art students come to your website to enjoy your work and learn about how you use your gifts to let others know about God’s love and grace.
